Leave late evening or night by bus from Kanyakumari to Trivandrum (85-100km)

Have dinner; Check-in near East-Fort (near Padmanabha temple) decent place for the night.

Dec 31 Tuesday Trivandrum

Wake-up early morning as Padmanabha temple opens by 5AM

After darshan- have breakfast and head to Kovalam so that we reach by 10-11AM

We are staying in One and Only Homestay in Kovalam which is about 1km from sea.

Rest of 31 Dec and 01 Jan – we explore Kovalam.

Shangumukham beach (west of Trivandrum and near to airport)

Valiathura sea-bridge (in suburb of Thiruvananthapuram)

Varkala Beach or Papanasam beach (haven for sun-bathing and swimming)

Anchuthengu fort formerly known as Anjengo (about 12 km from Varkala en route to Kadakkavur) British East India Company established Anchuthengu Fort or Anjengo Fort in 1695 after the Queen of Attingal gave it permission to do so.

We can venture into sea or spend time by the sea; eat or do whatever we want or explore.

After almost 2 days in Trivandrum. We leave late night on Jan 01^st or early morning on Jan 2^nd from Trivandrum to Marthandam 40 km
