How - Clean up 15 km Chennai beach stretch from Marina till Injambakkam with hundreds of volunteers
Totally 60 groups have joined forces contributing 3500+ volunteers to Chennai's largest coastal clean-up.
These 60 groups have been allocated over 13 different beach zones covering the entire Chennai 15km shoreline from Marina till Injambakkam - an average of 200-250 volunteers per zone.
There was a total strength of 3500 volunteers from over 7 categories comprising
17 companies, 12 villages, 11 CTC groups, 9 colleges, 5 non-profit groups, 3 schools and 3 homes.
