 Went from Bangalore to Dodballapur about 60km out of the city at 6AM for a short road trip and quick trek. Reached in a couple of hours the small range, the starting point of the trek. Climbed up in an hour or so and enjoyed watching the wonderful views from the viewpoint. It was such a sight with a 270' view.  

Bandaje Arbi falls and Soormane falls, Kalasa, Chikmagalur. Sep 01-02, 2023

Bandaje waterfall is located in the Kudremukha section of the Western Ghats in the Belthangady taluk of Dakshina Kannada district, Karnataka. The waterfalls can be reached only by trekking in thick forests and grasslands. The height of the waterfalls is about 200 feet, formed by a tributary of the Netravathi River. 

We went on 01 September 2023 -Friday after reaching Kalasa by KSRTC bus from Bangalore. We reached the base point for this trek around 09:20 AM and in 10 minutes reached Rani Jhari viewpoint which was spectacular and gives you 180 degrees of breathtaking views of clouds, blue sky, and green cover all around.
