Per Wikipedia, Vibhuthi Falls is located in Achave Gram panchayat, Ankola taluk of Uttara Kannada district in Karnataka. The word Vibhuthi means limestone. The water comes past limestone rocks near Yana and is hence called Vibhuthi Falls.
